WHO WE ARE
My Parenting Is Unique, LLC was founded in December 2019 by Lajuell Neal, MSW. Lajuell comes with years of experience as an assistant program director for a youth shelter where she was responsible for the supervision of staff and oversight of program contracts and outcomes. Lajuell also provided direction to program development, implementing community education programming for community members focusing on a variety of themes, such as LGBTQ youth-specific issues amongst shelter residents. She is a longtime program mentor for adolescences and adults as she facilitates group meetings on topics such as mental health concerns and independent living skills.
Throughout her journey working with adults with mental health concerns, youth programs and child welfare, Lajuell has come in constant contact with community members impacted by interpersonal, community and systemic forms of violence and oppression. Lajuell is passionate about mental health, advocacy, survivor rights, trauma-informed care and collaborative work with individuals, families and communities to heal and support. Lajuell continues to succeeded in helping countless individuals navigate and overcome challenging situations.
Lajuell's core values are to be kind, patient, and open-minded with the experience, knowledge, and tools to help you cope with what you’re going through. We all must walk our own paths through life, but we don’t have to do it alone. We’re here to help, all you have to do is reach out.
My Parenting Is Unique has helped countless individuals as they navigate through difficult times. We create communities where people can find the support they need through the power of connection.
When people are facing challenges, it’s helpful for them to be able to find support from others who understand exactly what they’re going through, and that’s what they’ll find at our Parent Support Group. We welcome you into a safe space where you can share your story with others who have had similar experiences.
